10/31/2023 0 Comments Skies for luminar ai![]() ![]() I adjusted the Horizontal Offset a bit until it just looked right to me. Under the Orientation menu, using the Horizon Blending slider I made sure that the horizon line of the sky meshed with/behind my original horizon line. From there I went into the Sky AI menu and made further adjustments. All you have to do is click on it in the menu and it magically populates your image, replacing the original sky. Reflections in a calm riverįor this image, I chose the Blue Sky 2 replacement sky. ![]() ![]() That seemed to get the images to a good place overall. Once the images opened in Luminar AI I used the Enhance AI and increased it to +36. Using Luminar AI as a plug-in works great for me. Then I went to Photo > Edit in > Luminar AI. Before moving to Luminar AI I did my usual profile correction, spot removal and straightening. In all three of these images, I started in Lightroom Classic because that is my main post-processing tool of choice and it’s where my library is organized. I tested this out with a few of my images. Now, Luminar AI sky replacements will automatically reflect in the water in your image. One of the updates they’ve made is how the sky replacement works with reflections in the water. But, it is fun to play and see what can be done with the improvements made to Luminar AI. I’ll admit, though, I’m not one to do the whole sky replacement thing, especially when reflections are involved. Reflections are one of my favorite subjects. ![]()
